John Steytler joins CIH
Capricorn Investment Holdings (CIH) announced the transfer of Bank Windhoek Chief Economist, Dr John Steytler (photo), to CIH as Group Economist and Industry Advisor effective 1 May 2011.
Dr Steytler joined the CIH Group as Chief Economist of Bank Windhoek in April 2010. Prior to this, he held the position of Director of Research at Bank of Namibia and served as a member of the Executive Committee which amongst others is responsible for the setting of Namibia?s monitory policy.
Since his employment at Bank Windhoek, Dr Steytler has provided economic intelligence to the bank, the CIH Group and the Namibian nation at large.
This has been evidenced in the many presentations he has conducted, as well as a number of articles he has published in the media.
