January inflation hits 2.7%
Jo-Maré Duddy – Annual inflation in Namibia last month rose to 2.7%, up from 2.4% in December and 2.1% in January 2020.
Data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) today shows overall annual food inflation at 5.5%, down from 8.1% in December, but more than double the 2.1% in January 2020.
Overall annual transport inflation came in at -0.9%, compared to -1.3% in December and 5.0% a year ago
