Die Amerikaanse rockers Guns N’ Roses gaan in November ’n eenmalige vertoning by die FNB-stadion in Johannesburg hou.

Big Concerts het in ’n verklaring bevestig die groep, wat veral bekend is vir treffers soos “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Paradise City” en “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, sal op 29 November optree as deel van hul wêreldwye Not in This Lifetime-toer.

Dié toer het in 2017 oor ’n miljoen kaartjies verkoop en sedert 2016 het die groep al 149 optredes vir meer as 5,2 miljoen aanhangers gehou.

Guns N’ Roses, wat in 1985 gestig is, se Appetite for Destruction, wat in 1987 uitgereik is, is die debuutalbum wat die beste nóg verkoop het met 30 miljoen kopieë wat oor die wêreld heen ’n huis gevind het.

Die groep bestaan uit Axl Rose (stem en klavier), Duff McKagan (baskitaar), Slash (kitaar), Dizzy Reed (klawerbord), Richard Fortus (kitaar), Frank Ferrer (tromme) en Melissa Reese (klawerbord).

Kaartjies vir die vertoning sal Donderdag vanaf 09:00 beskikbaar wees by Computicket. Discovery-kaarthouers kan al van Dinsdag om 09:00 kaartjies koop. - Netwerk24
