Geingob: Namibië moet sy volgehoue vrede vier

Ronelle Rademeyer - Pres. Hage Geingob het vroeër vandag (Dinsdag) tydens die 27ste herdenking van Namibië se onafhanklikwording op Rundu gesê die land moet dankbaar wees dat vrede steeds gehandhaaf word en dit vier.
"Ek weet daar is mense in hierdie land wat moeg is vir vrede en geen geheim daarvan maak dat hulle agterdogtig is oor waarom ons vrede bly beklemtoon nie."
Geingob sê Namibië bly dié boodskap herhaal, aangesien dit die waarheid is. "Die waarheid kan nie verander nie. Net leuens kan verander," het hy gesê.
Daarmee saam, sê hy, kan Namibië nie ophou om die verhaal van sy glorieryke geskiedenis in die aanloop na onafhanklikwording te vertel nie.
