Right Way Football Clubs coach Immanuel Hamutenya says the Futsal League came to a successful end on Saturday.

His side was beaten 5-2 by Tura Magic, however, he said they learnt a lot from the games.

“Futsal was great. It created a great platform for development. It taught my girls the importance of ball rotation, how to think in tight spaces and getting the job done as a team.

“Futsal Namibia did a great job. Everything from day one was on point. Of course, we wanted to win but second place is not bad for a start. Looking forward to next season,” he said.

How it went down

In the under-17 semi-finals, Swallows beat Amazing Kids 7-0, while ACFA ended up defeating The Birds 6-3.

In the women’s semi-finals, Tura Magic beat V-Power Angels 5-2 and Right Way Ladies defeated Ramblers 1-0.

In the social semi-finals, X-Men defeated WSS 3-0 and Patriots were beaten 0-1 by SKW.

Finals of the U-17 category ended with ACFA beating Swallows 6-3.

In the finals, Magic won 6-0 against Right Way Ladies. The social finals ended 4-3 in X-Men’s favour against SKW.
