Foreign challenge to Namibian Women's Open

Last weekend Omeya Golf Club was the proud host of the annual FNB Africa Cup.It was the first time the event was played at Omeya as this event rotates all over Africa. Forty of FNB's senior management members from Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Zambia, Ghana, Lesotho and Tanzania took part in the two-day event organised by Omeya member, Heini Prinsloo.The overall feedback was very positive and Omeya Golf Club management would like to thank FNB Namibia for the opportunity to showcase their championship facility.• This weekend the club welcomes yet some more visitors from Africa, this time from South Africa and Botswana for the NALGU Namibian Open. Forty-nine players will be teeing it up tomorrow and Sunday with all eyes firmly set on the trophy. Omeya Golf Club would like to wish all the ladies the best of luck.
