Feb inflation at a low 2.5%

Annual overall inflation in Namibia last month was 2.5%, up slightly from the 2.1% recorded in January.
However, it is still considerably lower from the 4.4% a year ago.
Figures released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) show annual overall food inflation at 2.9% in February, compared to 6.2% in the corresponding month in 2019.
Annual overall transport inflation was 4.4% compared to 5% in January and 7.5% in February 2019.
Month-on-month, overall inflation was 0.3% in February.
