Entrepreneurs’ website launched

Dani Booysen
Ndama Nakashole - A website, namibiaentrepreneurs.com, dedicated to Namibian entrepreneurs was launched in Windhoek on Wednesday.

According to the director of the Herald Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business (HPGSB) Professor Grafton Whyte who officially launched the website, the site is containing everything entrepreneurship as a single access window point for all resources for entrepreneurs.

“Any Namibian that wants to get information that has to do with entrepreneurship, just go to namibiaentrepreneurs.com.

Whyte said the fact that Namibian universities are producing thousands of graduates every year, calls for entrepreneurship from the groups.

“If we can get a percentage of those graduates starting businesses or even to have had kicked off while they are still in university,” he said.

Whyte said that when people are still in university, they tend to be more experimental of things in their youth during that period. He said he wished Namibian students can experiment entrepreneurship while they are still in university, rather than some less important things.

Whyte, who heads the graduate school of business said they plan for action now than ever before.

According to namibiaentrepreneurs.com, the website consolidates all information, material, initiatives and resources geared towards the Namibian entrepreneur.

The website ensures that entrepreneurs can find the information they need at various levels of maturity of their entrepreneurship journey, it says.

Namibia Entrepreneurs(NE) says it brings together some of Namibia's best players in the country whose mandate is to step the ordinary entrepreneur through to success with education programs, important resources such as business plan models, business canvas, financial education, innovation and so much more.
