Die Namibiese kwaitokunstenaar Ees het na die finale ronde van X-Factor Duitsland deurgedring.

Ees en sy Yes-Ja! Band sal vanaand om 20:15 op die Sky Ticket-kanaal optree met die oog op 'n wenplek.

“Ek is so bly ons is in die finale met ons NamFlava. Dit versprei ons kultuur oor grense heen,” het Ees gesê.

“Ons het al die ondersteuning nodig wat ons kan kry. Ongelukkig kan net mense in Duitsland en Oostenryk stem. Maar as julle vriende en familie in dié twee lande het, vra hulle asseblief om vir ons te stem. Die stemkode sal vanaand om 19:30 op my Instagram- en Facebook-blad gepubliseer word. Dit is 'n baie groot geleentheid vir Namibië en ons musiek om gehoor te word en om die titel met Namibiese musiek te wen,” het hy gesê.
