Mnre. George Nagel en Brink Grobler het vir mnr. Owen Kataparo Muhenje (38), wat voetslaan ter bewusmaking oor omgewingskwessies in die Kunenevallei, 55 km noord van Okahandja raakgeloop. “Wat ’n voorreg,” het hulle in ’n boodskap aan Republikein gesê. “Kom ons help Owen om die Kunenerivier se krokodille te red. Die kwessies waaroor hy bewustheid onder gemeenskapslede langs die rivier en omgewingsbewaarders wil skep, is die impak van die erge skade weens die “mensgemaakte vloede” elke jaar, grond­erosie, die beskadiging van plantegroei langs die Kunenerivier, asook die krokodille wat vergiftig word.
