NCA Tegnologie-dae

Die Namibië Houtskoolvereniging (NCA) bied tegnologiedae op 20 en 21 November van 09:00 tot 16:00 op die plaas Aimeb in die Outjo-distrik aan. Tydens die geleentheid sal nuwe, omgewingsvriendeliker verbrandingsoonde (kilns) bekend gestel word. Praktiese sessies vir briketvervaardiging word vir plaaswerkers aangebied, terwyl biokoolstof(biochar)-uitstallings en veel meer te sien sal wees. Fietsry vir Dare to Care

Van 28 tot 30 November gaan ’n groep vrywilligers 376 km met bergfietse van Otjiwarongo na Torrabaai ry om geld vir die Dare to Care-droogtehulpfonds in te samel. Alle deelnemers is besigheidsmanne of boere wat deur die droogte geraak word. Hulle het borgskappe nodig om hulle per kilometer te borg, maar ander borgskappe is ook welkom.
