Napha-jaarvergadering

Die Namibië Professionele Jagvereniging (Napha) hou hul jaarvergadering op 26 November om 07:30 by Droombos, Windhoek. Van 18:30 af vind ’n spitbraai plaas en kostes beloop N$300 per persoon vir die aand se verrigtinge. Kontak Napha voor 10 November by 061 234 455 of [email protected].

Fietsry vir Dare to Care

Van 28 tot 30 November gaan ’n groep vrywilligers 376 km met bergfietse van Otjiwarongo na Torrabaai ry om geld vir die Dare to Care-droogtehulpfonds in te samel. Alle deelnemers is besigheidsmanne of boere wat deur die droogte geraak word. Hulle het borgskappe nodig om hulle per kilometer te borg, maar ander borgskappe is ook welkom. NCA Tegnologie-dae

Die Namibië Houtskoolvereniging (NCA) bied tegnologiedae op 20 en 21 November van 09:00 tot 16:00 op die plaas Aimeb in die Outjo-distrik aan. Tydens die geleentheid sal nuwe, omgewingsvriendeliker kilns, of verbrandingsoonde, bekend gestel word. Praktiese sessies vir briketvervaardiging word vir plaaswerkers aangebied, terwyl biokoolstof (biochar)-uitstallings en veel meer te sien sal wees. Toegang is gratis, maar belangstellendes moet voor 15 November by die NCA registreer (067 304 220).
