Brandstof in Julie duurder weens skerp styging in olieprys

Al was die wisselkoers in Junie gunstiger, het die skerp styging in die olieprys vir sodanige onderverhaling in die prys van brandstof gesorg dat motoriste in Julie die hand dieper in die sak sal moet steek by vulstasies.
Die onderverhaling was N$66 per liter vir petrol en N$55 sent per liter vir diesel.
Die prys van petrol en diesel sal gevolglik op 7 Julie met 40 sent per liter styg om hiervoor te vergoed.
Petrol sal dan by die pomp op Walvisbaai N$13,55 per liter kos en diesel N$13,58.
Dié aankondiging is vroeg Woensdagoggend deur die ministerie van myne en energie gemaak.
