Bevestige Covid-19-gevalle styg met 38 tot 412

Die minister van gesondheid en maatskaplike dienste dr. Kalumbi Shangula sê die aantal bevestigde Covid-19-gevalle in die land het met 38 tot 412 gestyg. Almal is Namibiërs. Een geval is in Engela in die Ohangwenastreek en die res van Walvisbaai.

Die geval in Engela is 'n 25-jarige vrou wat vanaf Walvisbaai gereis het op 17 Junie 2020 en op 25 Junie in kwarantyn geplaas is.
Uit die 37 gevalle in Walvisbaai is 22 vroue en 16 mans. Die jongste is twee maande oud en die oudste is 63 jaar oud.
Tot op hede is 11 207 weefselmonsters getoets en 885 mense is tans in kwarantyn.
