Bank Windhoek introduces new Vibe card
BANK Windhoek announced that its VIBE accounts have been rebranded, with the funky new look celebrating the first anniversary of this exciting product aimed to satisfy the special needs of tertiary students in Namibia. ?We are excited to introduce the new and modern look of the Vibe card and encourage existing Vibe account holders to visit their Bank Windhoek branch and swop their old cards for the newly designed cards.
Vibe is a versatile banking package for tertiary students, designed to cater for the unique financial needs of full-time and part-time registered students between 16 and 30 years, with a maximum annual income of N$120 000. With its wide range of products and services, Bank Windhoek aims to assist younger clients to achieve financial independence,? said Marlize Horn of Bank Windhoek.
When applying for an account, students should bring along a Namibian ID or valid passport or valid Namibian driver?s license, the most recent municipal account, not older than three months, or other proof of residential address, proof of academic registration (to be submitted annually) and a minimum of N$100 opening deposit.
?Vibe account holders can look forward to transact with their own Visa Electron Debit Card, offering ATM withdrawals and Point of Sale (POS) purchases. Bank Windhoek also gives Vibe account holders access to a student loan, subject to our normal credit criteria and free life cover worth N$3 000.
Access to internet banking and cell phone banking is also offered as part of the package. Vibe is a bridging product for young clients up to the stage when they become professionals,? said Ms Horn. For more information contact your nearest branch or visit www.bankwindhoek.com.na.
