BANK Windhoek received four awards from the finance magazine PMR. africa. In the business sectors ?Banks in Namibia? and ?Property Valuers in Namibia?, Bank Windhoek was rated highest and received a Diamond Arrow Award for each category. Furthermore, Bank Windhoek was also rated highest in the category ?Companies and Institutions doing most to promote arts and culture in Namibia? and received another Diamond Arrow Award for this achievement. In the business sector ?Investment Services in Namibia?, the bank was honoured with a Bronze Award.
?Without the support of our valued clients and our dedicated staff, Bank Windhoek would not have received these prestigious awards. Behind each successful and highly rated institution there is a successful team. I want to thank our clients and staff for believing in Bank Windhoek and for living up to the bank?s slogan ?Together we do better?,? said Managing Director, James Hill.
According to PMR.africa close on 7 000 ratings and nominations were sourced countrywide and companies and institutions were rated according to the following criteria: level of management expertise, implementation of corporate governance, brand awareness, level of innovation and what the company has done to enhance economic growth and the country?s development.
?The purpose of the awards is to enhance excellence and to set a bench mark in the industry. The awards are a culmination of a research process whereby companies and institutions are rated based on respondents? perceptions with a strong focus on evaluating and measuring customer service and customer satisfaction,?said Johan Hattingh, CEO of PMR.africa.
