Personeel van die Amerikaanse ambassade in Windhoek en alle ­departemente van die ­Amerikaanse regering het Vrydag presente aan 78 minderbevoorregte kinders geskenk. Lede van die Amerikaanse vloot het die presente versamel en aan die Hope Village in Katutura geskenk. Dit is deel van die soldate se Toys for Tots-program.
