Alle veeprodusente in Namibië wat lewendehawe by veilings of aan abattoirs verkoop, moet teen 1 Oktober vanjaar by die Vleisraad geregistreer wees.

Die doel daarvan is om die integriteit van handel in vee te ondersteun, sê die Vleisraad in sy weeklikse nuusbrief.

Die registrasie geskied in ooreenstemming met die Wet op die Vleisbedryf en behels die jaarlikse voltooiing van 'n standaardvorm, bekend as Vorm C.

Die proses het reeds vroeër die jaar begin en alle produsente word versoek om te registreer of te herregistreer.

Die inligting wat die Vleisraad hierdeur insamel, help weer met beplanning in die vleisbedryf, sê die Vleisraad.

Produsente wat reeds geregistreer is, kan aanlyn herregistreer by www.nammic.com.na. Kliek op “Producer registration – re-registration”.

Die vorms is ook by alle agente, veeartsenykantore en by landboutegniese beamptes verkrygbaar.

Die voltooide vorms kan na 061 306 602 gefaks word, of geskandeer en na producerregistration@nammic.com.na per e-pos gestuur word.
