Air Namibia, AVIAREPS strengthen their business relationship
ACCORDING to a press realease by Air Namibia and AVIAREPS, the world?s leading General Sales Agent, have entered into a representation agreement for the Spanish market. With immediate effect, the AVIAREPS office in Madrid will be responsible for the sales promotion of the Namibian carrier in Spain.
With this recent appointment, both companies further deepen their successful cooperation and extend their long-term partnership.
The promotion of Air Namibia?s flight offer and excellent product will be the focus of the Spanish market. Air Namibia currently connects Europe with the African continent through Frankfurt Airport in Germany. Currently, six weekly connections are available. The offer will upgrade to daily operations as from March 28th 2012.
Departing from Frankfurt, passengers benefit from convenient overnight flights to Namibia?s capital Windhoek and beyond. Additional further African destinations such as Cape Town, Johannesburg, Lusaka, Luanda and Maun are on Air Namibia?s schedule as well as regional routes within Namibia. Starting with the summer schedule, the Namibian carrier will also add Gaborone and Harare to its network, making its regional flight offer even more attractive.

Its current route network consists of national and international destinations in Southern Africa and Europe. Air Namibia?s fleet consists of two Airbus A340, two Airbus A319 and three Embraer ERJ-135.
