Die 2019-leerlingraad van Grootfontein Agri Kollege is onlangs gekies.

Volgens mnr. Mr Henk Botha, hoof van dié privaat skool wat in 2011 gestig is, voed die instelling sport- en akademiese presteerders op. “Meer as 20% van ons atlete het nasionale kleure verwerf en van hulle reis oor die wêreld heen om mee te ding.”

Wat akademie betref, hou die skool by met internasionale tendense en meer elektroniese leerhulpmiddels sal binnekort by die sekondêre skool ingespan word. Alle leerlinge sal van iPads gebruik maak, sê Botha.

Volgens hom is die skool se benadering holisties.“Ons streef daarna om die kind eerste te stel en te laat ontwikkel in ‘n sterk individu.”

Die leerlingraad van 2019 is Ian Grobbelaar (hoofseun), Karlien Botha (hoofmeisie), Johan Enslin (onderhoofseun), Caroline Neumann (onderhoofmeisie), Chantell Louw, Lincoln Beukes, Heinrich Coetzee en Christopher Deck.
