A pro-life matter

J.C.J. KOTZÈ WRITES: Thank you for your remark about Adam that did not take up his responsibility. Let us debate.

The reason why that letter was forwarded to Republikein was about a prolife matter. That is something I feel very strong about and my hope is to awake more minds to promote “All life matters”.

1Tim 2:13-15 "For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

Can we compromise on a 50-50 situation? The wrong choice was motivated by deception. How should Adam react responsibly on Eve's proposal to eat with her?

Here is my suggestion. He should have said: ”Listen, I think you are ­beguiled. Truly, what you have done is not the right thing. How do you think I must explain this to our Creator?”.

In today's terms he will go on and say: ”I want a divorce! You and the kids can go on your own in this garden!” (Although there were no children yet.)

Anyway, you will remember my suggestion that we must learn out of it?

Yes. So, today's men must become decision makers and say: “Listen you ladies, you are deceived around this matter. You are child bearers and not life destroyers. If you do that, you will not be saved. No excuses.” And then they choose to become morally responsible.

When sex drives gets out of hand it has long term destructive consequences. Ask me privately – I will tell you about my regrets.

It was a bit shocking to see how Australian ladies celebrated in their parliament when their “choice” were approved. Obviously the snake had done his work.
