Uit die 201 nuwe gevalle wat vandag aangekondig is, is 64 leerlinge, nege gesondheidswerkers en vyf onderwysers.

Die aktiewe gevalle staan tans op 2 066 waarvan 148 in die hospitaal en 19 in ICU is. Nog 107 het herstel wat die totaal op 37 366 en 'n herstelkoers van 94% te staan bring.

Tot op hede is 310 907 weefselmonsters getoets, 4 248 kontakte word gemonitor en 1 940 mense is in kwarantyn. Die Covid-19-verwante sterftesyfer staan op 437.
