Public days are there for you!

Covid-19 controls and procedures are adhered to, but you remain welcome.

Frank Steffan - While yesterday was a closed function at the Namibia Tourism Expo to allow the players of the tourism industry to get to know each other and interact to the benefit of the industry, that changes dramatically today.

Starting today, access is allowed to the public as from 12h00 and the gates will only be closed at 22h00 in the evening. Meanwhile on Saturday, the gates will be opened from 10h00 in the morning and only closed again at 22h00.

It is important to understand the two entertainment areas dedicated to you. The difference is made between those visiting the expo and appreciating some light entertainment in between as part of the experience, and those of you who want to watch a show and afterwards chill out by joining the big entertainment show planned this year.

Everyone is welcome, and while not compulsory, buying a ticket online in advance makes the process so much easier.

Normal access to the expo goes for N$50 per person, while pensioners and pupils enter free before 16h00 – any time after that, they pay N$30 each. Pupils not wearing uniform will also be charged N$30.

Children under the age of six will enter for free.

Entertainment

Having paid the above, you will be able to visit all stands related to a normal expo, but you will also be able to watch various cooking shows as well as comedy and money shows during lunch and the early afternoon.

As from 15h00 today, 16h30 on Friday and 16h00 on Saturday, you have the option to end your visit by changing over into the tjil Entertainment Area – this is where the real fun will go down.

Apart from artists such as DJ Cellos, Jerusalema hitmaker Master KG, Ivan Roux and many more rocking out, you will also be able to take part in wine tastings and other exciting events.

TICKETS are available at the gate or online via eticket.my.na, with pricing differences between VIP tickets (which include meal and drink tokens as well as Namibia Tourism Expo caps) and blue or green tickets.

PLEASE NOTE that the prices advertised are for a group of six people sharing a box in line with Covid-19 measures. More details are available in Namibia Media Holdings newspapers or online.
