Namibian international and Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nyambe will not be joining up with Namibia on international duty following guidance from the club's medical staff after suffering a concussion in their match against Huddersfield Town.
The right-back was due to meet up with the Namibian international team, the Brave Warriors, for their World Cup qualifier against Senegal in Dakar on Saturday.
He would have then returned from international duty, missing their subsequent fixture against South Africa to ensure he would be available for the Coventry City contest due to quarantine restrictions.
However, due to concussion protocols and guidance from the club’s medical department, Nyambe won’t be heading out on international duty, nor will he be involved against Blackpool this weekend.
