No stopping Starlile
Hogans Alley, popularly known as Starlile, won the 2000 m open at the Standard Bank Kaondeka Horse Racing event on Saturday.

Hogans Alley Starlile from the Okahandja Racing Club beat Visigoth from Aminuis Racing Club and You Touch My Heart, who took second and third place respectively, in the 2000 m open race at Okahandja.
The much-anticipated race had horse racing fans on their feet with most having betted on their favourite, Starlile, to take the race.
The event saw 11 races with horses coming from various racing clubs.
The organiser, Steven Tjihero, hailed the event as a success.
“Our event was a huge success, thanks to Standard Bank for all their resources and the sponsorship. The horses came from all over the country and we are extremely grateful for their participation and bringing well-prepared, quality horses to the event.
“As for the spectators, I could see they were thirsty for horse racing. I would like to think that together we created a spectacular event. A big thanks to the local authorities for assuring everything was kept in order as well,” added Tjihero.
