With the second weekend of the Khomas Super 10 Netball league the ladies came prepared and ready to leave the day with wins.

On Saturday, round 5 in court A first game was Tigers vs Lingua and in court B Gomonate vs Nust. In the second game court A was Unam vs Tigers and in court B it was Black Africa vs NCS.

With the first game in round 5, the Lingua (Aquars) team gave the Tigers players a tough time with the ball. Both teams played really well but the Aquars showed great team work which made them win the match against Tigers.

“I am really happy with the way we played today, there are a few things that we can work on as a team.

“The Tigers team did give us a bit of a tough time but good competition is something we enjoy having. Now we will practise harder for our next match for next week and really looking forward to getting another win, hopefully,” said the captain of the Lingua (Aquars) team. In court B with Black Africa vs NCS, Black Africa lost and the coach was not happy with the match but glad that her girls got to play.

“The players really played their hearts out today and I am proud of them all, we will go back to the drawing board and practise hard,” she said.

“I do not have words, I am really out of breath but I'm very proud of my team and this makes me more excited for next week and more games to come,” the captain of NCS said.
