Make sure you are not locked out
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
We must thank our president Hage for calling a national day of prayer against the coronavirus. It showed leadership and humility. May the Lord continue to bless him with wisdom.
When I heard churches worldwide had to shut their doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Holy Spirit immediately brought to my remembrance the parable of the ten virgins.
This familiar story is an end-time warning.
Matthew 25:10 - “But while they were on their way to buy the oil the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet and the door was shut.”
On Friday 13 June 1997, the Lord Jesus spoke to me in a dream about His second coming. I was told to warn friend, stranger, family, young and old. We are living in the time of the “countdown” to this glorious event.
Since I had the dream almost 23 years ago, I’ve had many, many reminders from the Lord.
This weekend my husband and I took a trip to Keetmanshoop. His mother turned 86.
Saturday evening we visited a well-known restaurant in the town. The owner, who knows my husband well, came to our table and told us how he and a friend visited a Nama man who sang to them: “Waar sal ek gaan as die Heer Jesus kom? Die deur is toegesluit en ek is buitekant.”
What are the chances of this happening unless orchestrated by the Holy Spirit? We must make sure that we are inside when the Lord shuts the door.
Imagine the joy that awaits us.
Although obedience to the Lord is not always easy, persevering will bring reward.
