He added that while the market is not highly lucrative due to limited disposable income and a relatively small local population resulting in repeat clientele, finding a niche can lead to success. “The industry faces competition from travellers seeking experiences outside Namibia, but Travel With Tatekulu focuses on catering to the local market, making it a priority. International visitors are seen as a bonus. With careful research and a unique approach, the business can thrive by providing tailored and localised experiences, ensuring its success within the Namibian tourism landscape,” he said. As business partners, Ambuga and Shigwedha empower each other by understanding each other's strengths and weaknesses. They've created a work environment where they complement each other's skills and keep the atmosphere light-hearted with some jokes, but remain serious about their goals.
