Top mathematicians awarded

As part of its commitment to educational excellence and the development of future-ready talent, Old Mutual Unit Trust (OMUT) awarded top-performing Grade 12 students who excelled in Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics.

At St. George’s Diocesan School, Anikait Sahu and Mark Saad achieved an exceptional average of 99%, while Henry Grant and Jonty Austin from St. Paul’s College were celebrated for their outstanding results and commitment to academic excellence.

Representatives from the Old Mutual Investment Group presented the awards and congratulated the learners and educators, underscoring OMUT’s belief in the transformative power of education and its role in shaping Namibia’s intellectual capital.

“Old Mutual Unit Trust is proud to celebrate the achievements of learners who excel in subjects that are critical to innovation and economic growth,” said Lionel Kannemeyer, managing director of the Old Mutual Investment Group. “By investing in education, we are investing in Namibia’s future.”

OMUT continues to support initiatives that promote academic excellence, skills development and financial empowerment across the country.
