Pamwe Group hosts charity golf day to support vulnerable communities
Help for Orlindi Orphanage, Hope Village and Megameno
The Golf for Charity day drew a wide range of teams, each contributing to the event's cause.
Pamwe Group recently hosted a successful Golf for Charity day at the Windhoek Country Club.
This winter initiative aimed to extend warmth and care to some of the most vulnerable members of society, with proceeds and donations going to Orlindi Orphanage, Hope Village and Megameno.
The event came hot on the heels of Pamwe Group’s first official outreach effort held just weeks earlier, where they collected Easter eggs, clothes, blankets and toiletries to bring joy to the less fortunate during the Easter season.
This winter-focused initiative continues on that momentum, reinforcing the group’s commitment to making a meaningful impact through service and collaboration.
The tournament drew a wide range of teams, each contributing to the event’s charitable cause. Among the participating teams were Mumi Investment Managers, Catalyst Investment Managers, Herena, EOS Capital, Loft and Isabel’s Table, Coca-Cola, Birdies and Eagles, Windhoek Sunday School, Shamwari, PSquare and Weezy. Their involvement not only showcased their golfing skills but also their shared dedication to uplifting communities in need.
The day’s activities were smoothly coordinated and navigated by Kasoma Paulino, whose leadership helped ensure the event’s success.
Team effort
The golf day was made possible thanks to the generous support of several sponsors and partners. Special thanks go to Tody and Trevor from the Windhoek Country Club for hosting the event, as well as to Simonis Storm and Coca-Cola for keeping participants refreshed throughout the day. Delights from Closwa and Isabel’s Table added an extra layer of warmth, making every victory at the event even more meaningful.
Pamwe Group’s consistent efforts to support charitable causes demonstrates the power of community when young people and organisations come together for a greater purpose.
As winter grips the nation, the donations and funds raised through the golf day will go a long way in bringing comfort and hope to children and families facing hardship.
With each swing of a club and every donation made, warmth was extended to those who need it most this winter proving that when communities come together, they can truly change lives.
