Head boy Festus MbunduBeing head boy was never just about the title; it was a passion I’ve carried with me since I first set foot in high school. From the moment I was given the honour of serving in this role, the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. It’s been filled with excitement, growth and unforgettable experiences.But with the thrill of leadership also comes weighty responsibility. This role demands dedication, resilience, and hard work. It challenges you to lead by example, to rise above pressure, and to remain consistent even when it’s difficult.There are, of course, moments that test your patience and push you beyond your comfort zone. Yet, true leadership lies in choosing to focus on the positives. It means embracing every challenge as an opportunity to grow, not just for yourself, but for those you represent.Being head boy has taught me that leadership is not about perfection, it’s about purpose, passion and perseverance.Head girl Caylynn MungundaCarrying the title of head girl has been nothing short of an incredible experience. To my surprise, the role fits me well, a unique blend of challenge and growth.I consider myself a shy yet outgoing person, with a passion for all things sport-related. Beyond the playing fields, I carry a deep concern for the well-being and future of the youth. My greatest hope is that, in some small way, I can help spark positive change, whether in my school, my community and beyond.Leadership is not about being perfect or having all the answers. It's about showing up, standing up and lifting others as you grow. I strive each day to live by the words: "Be the change you want to see."
