Head girl Ruby Schwartbooy My five years at Westside High have been transformative. It turned me from a shy girl who kept to myself, into a outgoing person. Supportive teachers nurtured my potential, while classmates and schoolmates became lifelong friends. As head girl, I led initiatives that showcased our school 's spirit. Westside taught me resilience, empathy and teamwork and a lot of patience. The experiences, lessons and values I gained still shape me today. I 'm forever grateful for the school 's impact on my life and the rest of the few months I have left here. Westside High will always hold a special place in my heart, and I 'll cherish the memories forever. Witnessing our students ' growth and achievements has been truly rewarding.The Learners Representative Council 's camp was a highlight, showcasing their leadership and teamwork skills. I 've been inspired by the dedication of our students, staff and parents. It 's been a privilege to work alongside such a talented and passionate community. I 'm proud of what we 've accomplished together and look forward to continuing our journey of excellence. Being head boy has allowed me to make a positive impact, and I 'm grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful school.
