Concordia College Greenies Concert 2025
February 21st was not a normal day for Concordia learners: Traditions had to be tested on our new grade 8s. Talents that were waiting to be exposed to the world.
It was a good Friday indeed.
Tickets were sold out even before the end of the week.
The Greenies practised to show the rest of the school community that they belonged in Concordia.
The event started at 10:30 with a prayer, followed by welcoming remarks by our wonderful principal, Mrs. Liezel Cloete, who also thanked everyone who came to support the Greenies.
And then the real show began.
First off was a poet, whose words touched everyone’s heart with how unfair life can be.
Then the models presented their first round — summer wear — showing us that they are more than just models but that they can also move their feet and dance. How extravagant they looked!
Speaking of dancing, a solo artist showed us that you do not need a group to show your moves. There is more to just group work; sometimes you need to do things alone, and she sure did!
