Namutoni triumphs in Interhouse 2025

In a thrilling display of athleticism and teamwork, Namutoni claimed victory in the Interhouse 2025 competition held in February.

The athletes from Namutoni, Halali, and Okaukuejo went head-to-head, with Namutoni ultimately taking the top spot.

The AS learners’ decision to join forces with Namutoni proved to be a masterstroke, ending a decade-long drought without a win. Their dedication and perseverance brought pride and joy to the entire Namutoni community.

While specific event details and winning margins remained scarce, the triumph marked a significant milestone. The team’s success is a testament to the power of teamwork and determination.

In the 2025 Interhouse Athletics competition, Namutoni was followed by Okaukuejo in second place and Halali in third. The event highlighted the exceptional talent and commitment of young athletes across the houses.

Several athletes stood out with remarkable performances, earning the chance to represent their school at a regional level. These talented individuals then progressed to the prestigious NSSU National Athletics Championship in Windhoek. Over 1 000 athletes and officials from all 14 regions gathered at Independence Stadium for the event, showcasing the very best of Namibian sporting talent.

The qualified athletes competed against the nation’s top talent, demonstrating skill and sportsmanship. The championship served as an important platform for young athletes to excel and potentially lay the groundwork for future sporting careers.
