Record sales for Dulux
More growth expected for 2023
Dulux Namibia is boasting with an all-time record sales in 2022 and attribute it to a team that worked together and had the same goal in mind.
Dulux Namibia is celebrating more than 25% growth of their expected sales for 2022 and the team believes they will surpass their expectation again in 2023.
According to Schalk Burger, general manager of Dulux Namibia, they exceeded their goals for not only the financial year but also the calendar year. “We attribute the success to our team. Everyone from ground level to top management worked towards the same goal and it shows,” he says proudly.
He says that everyone was aligned with the goals in place and the strategy was simple enough for everyone to understand. “But none of this can be possible without the support of our customers, which I think has been loyal and supportive.”
Dulux have also expanded their footprint within the country, making sure they cover a large geographical area. “We are optimistic and positive about the future and we are looking forward to see if we can see the same results next year but we do foresee the market being under pressure.”
Burger says with their partnerships and distribution networks, they will work towards reaching their goals and they will work towards mitigating the challenge, especially global challenges like the ongoing Russia/Ukraine war and climate change that remains high on the global agenda. “It is important to be aware of the challenges and to break it down. The war for instance together with the rising cost of fuel have a specific effect on the Namibian economic market,” he says, adding that as soon as you have insight and understanding on those challenges, you can plan towards it.
He looks forward to the New Year in reaching their targets. “We thank our loyal customers and potential new customers for their continuous support.”
