One woman, three ventures, one purpose

Helping people has always been at the centre of Roxanne Mumangeni's life. Whether supporting parents through healthcare or creating cakes for life's biggest celebrations, every business she has built is driven by one purpose: making a positive difference in the lives of others.

A qualified pharmacist assistant, entrepreneur, wife and mother of two, Mumangeni is the founder of Little Lamb Wellness Kits, Little Lamb Lactation Cookies and YUMMY TREATS. While each venture serves a different need, they are all rooted in the same values of faith, family and service.

"My husband has been my biggest supporter and greatest encourager," she says. "If it wasn't for his love, belief in me and constant support, I honestly wouldn't be where I am today. We always say our family is a triangle, God at the top, my husband and I at the bottom. Together, we build everything on faith, love and purpose."

The idea behind Little Lamb Wellness grew from both her professional experience and her personal life.

Working in healthcare, Mumangeni noticed that many parents left pharmacies unsure about which medicines they should keep at home or how to use them safely. As a mother herself, she understood the stress that comes when a child suddenly becomes ill, especially during the night.

Rather than seeing it as an everyday challenge, she saw an opportunity to provide reassurance.

That led to the creation of Little Lamb Wellness Kits, carefully selected baby and children's wellness kits designed to help parents feel prepared and confident. She later expanded the business with Little Lamb Lactation Cookies, offering breastfeeding mothers a delicious and nutritious snack to support them throughout their breastfeeding journey.

Alongside her healthcare business, Mumangeni has continued growing YUMMY TREATS, where she turns her passion for baking into custom cakes for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baby showers and other special occasions.

"My goal is simple," she says. "To make healthcare more accessible, practical and reassuring for every family while also bringing joy to people's celebrations through baking."

Entrepreneurship did not happen overnight.

Her first venture, YUMMY TREATS, taught her valuable lessons about customer service, perseverance and running a business. Those experiences gave her the confidence to combine her healthcare knowledge with her lived experience as a mother to establish Little Lamb Wellness.

"The idea grew naturally from my professional experience in pharmacy and my personal experience as a mom. I combined what I know professionally with what I've lived personally, and that became the foundation of my business."

Like many entrepreneurs, funding presented one of her biggest challenges. Launching a healthcare-related business required careful planning, quality products and significant investment. Instead of giving up, she chose to build the business step by step while trusting God's timing.

"Every challenge has made me stronger and reminded me that success is a journey, not a race," she says.

One of the moments that confirmed she was on the right path came when parents began sharing how much they wished they had a ready-made wellness kit at home.

"The positive feedback and encouragement I received confirmed that this wasn't just a business idea; it was a solution that families genuinely needed."

That feedback continues to shape her approach to business. Rather than focusing on selling products, she aims to provide confidence, education and convenience by solving real challenges families face.

Among all her achievements, Mumangeni says she is most proud of turning her passions into businesses that serve others while remaining present for her family.

"From creating memorable cakes through YUMMY TREATS to launching Little Lamb Wellness, I've proven to myself that it's possible to pursue more than one dream while still being present as a wife and mother."

Looking ahead, she hopes to grow Little Lamb Wellness into a trusted household brand across Namibia while continuing to expand YUMMY TREATS. Her long-term vision also includes opening a health centre where families can receive quality healthcare in a welcoming environment, while creating employment opportunities and developing products that continue supporting mothers, babies and families.

Reflecting on her journey, Mumangeni says the one thing she would do differently is believe in herself sooner.

"Don't wait until everything is perfect because perfection rarely comes. Growth happens through taking action, learning from mistakes and improving along the way."

Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is equally simple.

"Start where you are, with what you have. Build your business on integrity and purpose, stay consistent, keep learning and never lose sight of why you started."

Today, her greatest motivation remains the people she serves. Helping parents feel more prepared, supporting breastfeeding mothers and creating memorable celebrations continue to inspire her every day.

Above all, Mumangeni says her faith keeps her grounded.

"This business is bigger than me. It's about serving people with compassion and excellence. I believe every opportunity is a blessing, every challenge is a lesson, and every step forward is guided by His grace."

For Roxanne Mumangeni, success is not measured only by business growth, but by the impact she can make, one family, one wellness kit and one celebration at a time.
