Namfisa announces executive appointments

Financial regulator announced the appointments of Gloria Heita as its Change Management Specialist effective 2 December 2024, as well as Abel Sindano as the general managerfor Research, Policy, and Statistics, effective from 1 November 2024.Heita brings a wealth of expertise to Namfisa, with a career spanning multiple leading organisations, including Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, Namdeb Diamond Corporation, and Anglo-American. Her professional journey has equipped her with extensive experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Project Management, LeadershipDevelopment, and Change Management. Sindano brings over 20 years of professional experience to Namfisa, including a distinguished career as the Executive: Economic Statistics at the Namibia Statistics Agency, where he oversaw the production of economic statistics, the regulator said. An alumnus of the University of Namibia (UNAM), Heita majored in Industrial Psychology, gaining a strong foundation in Human Resources and Change Management.Commenting on her decision to join Namfisa, Heita said, “Namfisa's esteemed reputation for fostering financial stability and integrity within Namibia aligns perfectly with my professionalgoals and values.
