Development Bank of Namibia takes funding information to the people
The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) is currently conducting a nationwide outreach programme to bring information about its funding solutions closer to communities across the country. Through this initiative, DBN seeks to empower individuals, entrepreneurs, and enterprises by sharing key information about the Bank’s financial products and how to access funding to bring their development ambitions to life.
This week, the bank is hosting a series of information sessions in northern Namibia. The outreach continues in the Oshikoto Region, with a session in Tsumeb on Thursday, 26 June 2025, both starting at 18:30.
This outreach programme forms part of DBN’s commitment to inclusive development by ensuring that all Namibians, including those in remote and rural areas, are informed and equipped to participate in economic activities through access to finance and developmental support.
“The bank recognises that information is power, and we are dedicated to ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey towards national development,” said Jerome Mutumba, DBN’s Chief: Marketing and Corporate Affairs. “These information sessions provide a platform for direct engagement between the Bank and potential borrowers,” he added.
Following the northern leg, the outreach programme will continue in the southern and central regions. Dates and venues for the upcoming sessions will be announced on DBN’s official social media platforms.
