Founded nearly 20 years ago by Cathleen Goedeman, Hotel Pension New Nouveau is the definition of a passion project turned success story. “There was nothing here,” Eyde recalls. “Miss Goedeman was part of the team that dug the first foundation. She built this place from scratch.”
The hotel has grown from humble beginnings into a fully serviced guesthouse that balances elegance, comfort and personality in every corner. With its wildlife-inspired décor, calming natural tones and lush gardens, the hotel aims to provide more than just accommodation – it offers serenity. “We strive to create a tranquil, homely space,” says Eyde. “Our décor reflects that: each room has its own character, but the overall feel remains warm, clean and welcoming.”
The hotel also adjusts seasonally to meet guest needs, offering extra blankets and heaters during winter, and light linens and blooming gardens in summer to create a refreshing ambience.
