CIF to host Infrastructure Forum

The Construction Industries Federation of Namibia (CIF), in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), the Lüderitz Waterfront Development Company, the Lüderitz Town Council, and FlyNamibia, announce that bookings are now open for the CIF Infrastructure Development Forum, scheduled to take place from 14–16 October 2025 at the Old Power Station Conference Centre in Lüderitz. The Forum is further supported by main sponsors First National Bank, Standard Bank, Namibia Welding, Building and Civil Works, Africa Personnel Services, Namport, Peralin Paints, and Neo Paints. Additional support comes from Ohorongo Cement, Access Laboratory Services, NEC Energy, NEC Water & Pumps, Windhoek Hire and Sales Services, Dynamic Concrete and Pupkewitz Megabuild. This three-day event will feature more than 35 high-profile speakers and panellists from government, state-owned enterprises and private sector companies. The speakers will share essential information about projects under their auspices, including details on timelines and procurement requirements. The Forum offers a unique opportunity for contractors, SMEs, suppliers of building material and financiers to gain upfront knowledge about upcoming infrastructure and development projects in Lüderitz and the wider //Kharas region. This information will equip businesses to prepare strategically, ensuring they are ready to participate in tenders and create partnerships as projects move forward.In addition to knowledge-sharing, the Forum will provide ample opportunities for networking, with over five hours of structured sessions, nine coffee breaks, and three lunches built into the programme. Collaboration between Namibian-owned contractors and SMEs is at the core of the event, and the programme includes dedicated training opportunities for SMEs on the final day. While designed with SMEs in mind, the training content will also provide valuable insights for all participants.The CIF Infrastructure Development Forum 2025 is not only about presenting upcoming economic opportunities but also about building capacity, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring that Namibia’s construction sector is prepared for the demands of the future.
