Bank Windhoek celebrates customers

Bank Windhoek joined the global celebration of Customer Experience (CX) Day this week with a countrywide walk event themed “Walk the Extra Mile.” The Bank’s employees from various branches and departments came together to walk and engage with their communities, demonstrating unity and a commitment to customer excellence.



The event, which saw participation from all its branches countrywide, highlighted the Bank’s ongoing commitment to service excellence and innovation in customer experience. In

Windhoek, the celebrations started at Bank Windhoek’s Kudu Branch, where Bank Windhoek staff gathered in their signature red Bank Windhoek T-shirts.



Staff walked to the Capricorn Branch, making their way along Independence Avenue and through major malls and key locations across the country. Bank Windhoek’s MD, James Chapman joined the celebrations at the Swakopmund Branch and highlighted the day’s importance.



“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a proudly Namibian Bank, walking the extra mile is not just a theme for this year’s celebration, but a continual promise that we strive to fulfil with every service and interaction. By coming together across branches and departments, we reaffirm our dedication to exceeding customer expectations and building lasting trust,” he said.



He added that the turnout from staff across all regions demonstrated the Bank’s collective commitment to its values.



“Seeing colleagues from every branch participate and engage with their communities is a testament to the strength and unity of our team. This level of involvement shows how deeply our staff care about delivering exceptional service and building meaningful relationships with our customers,” he said.



Bank Windhoek’s marketing and corporate communication executive officer, Jacquiline Pack said the countrywide celebrations allowed staff to connect with their communities. “Our brand

values guide us: we are Open, Dedicated and Inspired. Through these values, we express who we are, a bank that listens, cares and continuously strives to deliver excellence,” she said.
