STAFF REPORTER
Africa Bitcoin Corporation Limited (“ABC”), Africa’s first listed Bitcoin Treasury Company, together with Altvest Credit Opportunities Fund Limited (ACOF), officially listed on the the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX).

Trading in ABC’s ordinary shares and Class C preferred shares commences on the NSX with immediate effect.

This listing forms a core part of ABC’s multi-exchange strategy to expand access to regulated Bitcoin exposure across Africa and globally. With its primary listing on the JSE AltX and a

secondary listing on A2X, the addition of the NSX strengthens investor accessibility across Southern Africa and enhances ABC’s capital markets presence.

ABC also launched two concurrent capital raises to accelerate its dual strategy of Bitcoin treasury growth and SME financing impact: Equity Raise ABC offers up to 1,000,000 ordinary shares at N$11.00 per share. Proceeds are allocated to disciplined Bitcoin accumulation for its corporate treasury and the expansion of its financial services operations.

Class C Share Capital Raise

ABC issues up to 5,882,353 Class C Shares at R3.40 per share, targeting proceeds of R20 million. Funds raised are invested directly into ACOF, ABC’s private credit fund.

ACOF provides flexible lending to SMEs and continues to deliver measurable impact: over R540 million deployed, 45 high-growth SMEs funded, and more than 1,400 jobs sustained.

The Fund prioritises inclusive capital allocation, with strong exposure to women-led and black-owned businesses. Investor returns are targeted at 26–28% IRR annually.

Both South African and Namibian investors may participate in the Equity Raise and Class C Share Raise until 23 October 2025, either through licensed JSE or NSX brokers, directly with

ABC at [email protected], or via the ABC online investment portal.

Cirrus Securities, in its capacity as NSX sponsor, said it was proud to bring another dual-listing to the NSX, which serves to bring depth, breadth, and diversification of offerings on the NSX – a

key priority of the NSX which is supported by Cirrus Securities – including through the new asset type that this listing introduces to the Namibian market.

“This NSX listing gives Namibians access to Bitcoin—the world’s most pristine and best-performing asset over the last decade—while also delivering meaningful capital solutions to

the region’s SMEs,” said Warren Wheatley, CEO of Africa Bitcoin Corporation.

“Investors now have two clear opportunities: to participate in Africa’s first Bitcoin treasury vehicle and to support SME-driven growth through ACOF. Together, we are aligning financial innovation with real socio-economic impact.”
