Open letter to political parties

JASON WRITES:In the year of the National and Presidential elections to be held on 27 November 2024, emotions and excitement for the new to be leaders and campaigners are set to be high. It is with this same energy that I ask of you that after all is done, after all your posters are set up as advertisements to gain every vote possible on every lamp post, electrical kiosk, and notice board in every city, town, village, and location, that I ask of you to please clean up afterwards. As a fellow Namibian, I have seen this countless times that the banners and flyers are still being displayed months after elections. To be regarded as a leader, as I have been taught, one should lead by example. Whatever the outcome, come November 28, I believe that it would also be your duty to see to it that our beautiful country should be looked after and left in the state it was found.
