I am sorry to hear this but on the contrary I have a much different experience. Since I became one of the statistics of losing my job I was forced to become a state patient. I visit the Katatura state hospital regularly and with all honesty have to confess that I have never felt neglected in any way. I was always treated with the highest professionalism and dedication. I will even go so far and say that all my years in seeking medical intervention in the private sector never were so thoroughly examined like with the state dr’s. What I realized is that it all depends on your attitude and how you conduct yourself with these highly motivated and experienced dr’s and nurses and all medical personnel. I have the utmost respect and admiration for them. – Gerrit Marais
