PAS IN: Unieke geleentheid vir visuele kunstenaars

Aansoeke vir die 2023 Baker's Bay-slypskool vir kunstenaars is nou oop. Die slypskool word van 7 tot 24 September in die Tsau //Khaeb (Sperrgebiet) Nasionale Park gehou. Vanjaar se kursus sal op die tema van kreatiewe rehabilitasie fokus.

Die sluitingsdatum vir aansoeke is 27 Julie.

Kunstenaars wat die slypskool bywoon, sal van toegewyde werkstyd en ruimte voorsien word in 'n unieke en geïsoleerde deel van Namibië wat grootliks steeds ontoeganklik vir die publiek is. Dit is 'n unieke geleentheid vir kunstenaars om interaksie met die omgewing sowel as met hul medekunstenaars te hê - 'n ervaring wat hul kreatiewe praktyk kan verbeter.

Die kursus is deel van die Art Can Transform-projek wat deur die OMDis Town Transform Agency in Oranjemund geïnisieer is en deur Namdeb Diamond Corporation geborg en ondersteun word.
