PAS IN: Windhoekers gemaan om water te spaar

Die Windhoekse munisipaliteit vra inwoners om water spaarsaming te gebruik, ná 'n bars in die pyplyn tussen die Von Bachdam en die hoofstad. Herstelwerk het reeds die naweek begin en behoort teen môremiddag afgehandel te wees.

Inwoners word gemaan om nie tuine nat te maak, swembaddens te vul of hul motors te was nie. Volgens die munisipaliteit sal boorgatwater gebruik word indien water uit reservoirs nie voldoende is nie.

Dit kan meebring dat water bruin mag vertoon. Dit sal egter steeds voldoende behandel word om geskik vir menslike gebruik te wees.
