Republikein en sy sambreelmaatskappy Namibia Media Holdings plaas graag ’n regstelling van die feite aangaande ons hoofberig in Donderdag 6 April 2023 se koerant op rekord.

Die berig wat onder die opskrif “Droombos in die knyp” op Donderdag se voorblad verskyn het, verklaar dat Droombos voortaan nie alkoholiese drankies tussen 14:00 en 02:00 daagliks mag verkoop nie.

Ons berig voer ook aan dat Droombos voortaan belet is om funksies en geleenthede op sy perseel buite Windhoek aan te bied.

Hierdie stellings is nie feitelik korrek nie en dus mag Droombos steeds met alle bedrywighede voortgaan.

Die subopskrif wat verduidelik dat Droombos se hofaansoek afgekeur is, is ook strydig met die feite van die hofsaak. Droombos se aansoek teen onder meer die Windhoek-munisipaliteit (CoW) was suksesvol en is met koste aan Droombos toegeken.

Die oorspronklike aansoek deur Droombos is ook in 2020 gebring, nie 2019 soos berig nie, en is deur regter Thomas Masuku aangehoor.

Republikein vra opreg verskoning aan Hallie Investments number five hundred and eighty-two (PTY) Ltd, Droombos en alle betrokke partye asook ons lesers wat hierdeur geraak is.
