Water loop weer op Grootfontein

Grootfontein se munisipaliteit sê die dorp se gereelde wateronderbrekings oor die afgelope weke behoort nou iets van die verlede te wees nadat ‘n probleem met elektriese toerusting herstel is.

Die munisipale woordvoerder, mnr. Luke Salamo, sê ‘n senior elektrisiën het die afgelope naweek ‘n drie-fase probleem herstel. Volgens hom is normale watertoevoer na die dorp se inwoners weer teen gister om 12:00 herstel.

Hy het bygevoeg dat elektriese toerusting uitgesny het elke keer as die dorp reën kry.

“Die dorpsraad is daartoe toegewyd om ‘n ononderbroke watertoevoer na al ons inwoners te verseker," het hy gesê en om verskoning gevra vir enige ongerief wat die onderbrekings veroorsaak het.
