The leavesare then cleaned, washed and dried usinggentle methods to preserve their nutritionalintegrity. Drying methods may vary, butoften involve air drying in a cool and dryplace to retain the maximum amount ofnutrients and bioactive compounds in theleaves.After drying, the moringa leaves are milledor ground into a fine powder. This processreduces the leaves to a consistent particlesize, making them suitable for encapsulation and ensuring uniformity inthe final product. The moringa leaf powder is thenencapsulated into gelatine capsules usingencapsulation machines. These machines fillthe capsules with precise amounts ofmoringa powder, seal them and sort theminto batches for packaging.These capsules are then packaged intobottles and labelled with essentialinformation. Packaging materials arechosen to protect the capsules frommoisture, light and oxidation, ensuring theirstability and shelf life.Currently, Danielle only produces themoringa leaf capsules, which are currentlyavailable at Eland Pharmacy in Windhoek,with the aim of expanding into the localmarket.“We are committed to ongoing researchand development to innovate and improveour products.
