Juné van der Walt (30) is a photographer who focuses mainly on weddings, although she does other types of photography as well. “My work is 100% inspired by your story, your connection, your love, and how it all comes together,” she says.Van der Walt is a qualified teacher with no formal degree in photography, but this hasn't hampered her from making a living from photography. Wedding photography is not the only option for professional photographers – couples photoshoots or even just a single subject are also possible. Headshots for actors, professional business photos, nature photography, or even war photography are options for making a living. “People will always want to capture the important moments and they can’t do that and experience the moment at the same time,” she says.
